RED provided demolition, excavation, site management, and transportation and disposal services for the development of a new electrical substation site. RED provided waste characterization services, excavation services, regulated material handling and segregation, and transportation and disposal services for various types of wastes.


Specific waste streams included general debris associated with solid waste demolition and dumping, non-hazardous soil, non-regulated concrete and debris, PCB impacted soil, and characteristic hazardous lead soil. Additionally, RED removed two underground storage tanks and two hydraulic lifts associated with a former automotive repair shop historically located on the property. The total volume of materials removed from the site was 13,500 tons.
