Our Commitment to Health and Safety

​The safety of our clients and personnel is of paramount importance to RED. Our employees receive initial training and certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid, and 40-hour HAZWOPER in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1910 requirement. In addition, our personnel attend refresher training programs annually and receive specialized training in hazards unique to their specific environmental project.

HASP Preparation

It is a corporate requirement that a Health and Safety Plan (HASP) be prepared, approved and implemented for all projects where there is a potential for exposure to chemical or physical hazards. Our HASPs are site and task specific, are tailored to meet exact requirements of our clients, and always meet and often exceed the requirements promulgated by OSHA.

RED offers guidance with Emergency Response situations including:

Health and Safety Training

RED is committed to providing a safe environment for our employees, clients and the public. We have a “zero accident” safety record and all of our employees receive CPR, first aid, and 40-hour HAZWOPER training, as well as annual refresher courses. Employees also receive specialized training in hazards unique to their specific environmental project.
